Nigerian singers, Zlatan Ibile and Oladips, have dropped a join EP titled Mainland To Island.
The music project boasts of four tracks; Mainland to Island, Hallelujah, Zaddy and Consistency. It details the singers’ journey from the ghetto to the high brow area of Lagos.
In 2017, Zlatan released his debut single My Body featuring Olamide. Towards the end of 2018, he released the hit single titled Zanku (Leg Work), with a new dance routine of the same name.
His rise to fame has had a number of controversies trail him, most notably his arrest alongside fellow singer, Naira Marley for their alleged involvement with cybercrime better known as Yahoo Yahoo. Following the arrest, Zlatan was released some few days later while the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission later filed charges against Naira Marley who spent over a month in detention.
Oladips on the other hand shot into limelight after winning D’banj’s ‘King is here’ competition, which earned him a record deal with Reminisce‘s Edge records label.
