Yvonne Nelson: Ghanaian Entertainment Industry is Full of Hate

Yvonne Nelson, Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur has berated the Ghanaian entertainment industry for not promoting her work.

The actress took to her Twitter page to describe the industry as “full of hate and jealousy.”

In what appeared to be a reaction to her recently premiered movie on Netflix, Fix Us, the mother-of-one stated that her fans are the only ones supporting her work.

“Ghanaian entertainment industry= you’d have to tell peeps in the industry to push your work…. they see it and ignore! Im THANKFUL the fans BELIEVE in me! Afterall i do this for the FAN,” Nelson wrote.

“woke up this morning just thinking…… I DONT GET WHY INDUSTRY PEOPLE HATE EACH OTHER SO MUCH!!!! Like can you be happy when someone wins? And such wins are actually for GH. Imagine being a blackstar player and hating when another player scores for GH!”

The 34-year-old movie star had recently taking a swipe at African leaders, saying that African politicians kill the masses by denying them basic things needed for survival not with guns.
