GRAMMY-nominated music star, Burna Boy has mocked Nigerians over the mysterious fire incident at Accountant General of Federation’s office.
Some hours ago, the country’s Treasury House located beside the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command in Garki, Abuja, gutted fire.
Reacting to the inferno, the Afro-pop singer who had earlier announced his permanent departure from all social media platforms, took to his Instagram story to mock Nigerians.
The multi-award-winning singer said there is more suffering in store for people, adding that Nigerians should deploy the same energy used to criticise embattled Funke Akindele for violating ongoing lockdown order, to hold the government accountable.

Burna Boy’s post has however generated heated controversy on social media, as many people called out the singer for making such an ‘insensitive post’.
While some social media users criticized Burna Boy’s comparison with Afro-beat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, others hurled insults at him ‘for not knowing’ funds aren’t stored in the burnt office.
Burna Boy has a reputation for talking carelessly and hiding it under the guise of “being real”. Do you think Burna Boy mocking Nigerians was just a joke? Or is it another example of his insolence?
