Yhemolee opens up about the impact of his parents’ separation on his and his sisters’ lives in a recent interview on the Just Chude podcast.

Idowu Adeyemi, popularly known as Yhemo Lee, discusses his upbringing and his journey to fame.

He shedded light on the personal struggles he faced due to his parents’ separation during his childhood.

“My parents separated at a point where they could have damaged our lives”, he disclosed. The singer added that as a result, he had to send his sister and himself to school.

“My parents were well-to-do. I mean, I went to one of the best schools… but they left us all of a sudden”, Yhemo Lee stated.

Yhemolee candidly shares the tumultuous nature of his parents’ relationship.
He recounted an incident when he had to warn them against fighting during his mother’s birthday celebration at his house, fearing damage to his television.

The singer and actor also reflects on the impact of his parents’ separation, expressing his father’s remorse upon their reunion.

Despite the challenges, Yhemo Lee persevered and successfully obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).

Throughout his rising career, he has made appearances in several films, including the recently released ‘Gangs of Lagos’.

In a heartwarming revelation, Yhemo Lee discloses that his parents have now reconciled and are on good terms, to the extent that he even took them clubbing with him, fostering a positive family dynamic.
