After over a decade hiatus, Nigerian- British rapper and songwriter, Shola Idowu, better known as Weird MC, revealed she’ll be releasing singles in 2021 alongside a short story.

The 50-year-old spoke on Channels TV’s Rubbin Minds with media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. She also expressed her interest to work with indigenous singer Teniola ‘Teni’ Apata.

“It’s Teni o. I love Teni so much. It’s really funny but I love her sister as well. I like Niniola. It will be interesting to see if we do something together. Funke Akindele, I’ve loved her from day 1,” she stated.

Veteran Nigerian actor, Dan Nkoloagu, passed away.

The move star renowned for playing native doctors in Nollywood films died on Friday at the age of 83.

His son, Dan Nkoloagu Jnr, made the announcement via his Facebook page on Saturday.

“It was a Black Friday for us yesterday as my dad left us without saying goodbye,” he wrote.

Veteran Nigerian actor, Ernest Asuzu, died following a year-long health battle.

Music fans are going wild on social media, as rapper Zlatan replied DJ Cuppy‘s claim of blocking her on WhatsApp and Instagram.

Some weeks ago, DJ Cuppy had alleged that for over 10 months, Zlatan had blocked her due to reasons unknown to her.

“10 months later and I sometimes still wonder why @Zlatan_Ibile blocked me on WhatsApp and Instagram without ever saying why; we were actually friends…AND “Gelato” was a hit!” she alleged.

Responding to the claim on Soundcity‘s The Switch, Zlatan stated that she was hearing who bears DJ Cuppy for the first time on the show.

Hollywood icon, Cicely Tyson passed away.

The actress who was known for portraying strong African-American characters died at the age of 96.
