As he premiered the video of Lonely, one of his 2020 hit singles, Joeboy stated that his highly-anticipated debut album will be named –Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic.
“Working on this project was life-changing — I met a version of myself I never knew before. The plan was to come up with a title that best describes love, without actually using the word love. Hence Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic. Because love is a perfect blend of beauty and magic,” he stated.
Popular singers, Waje and Ric Hassani both sparked an engagement rumour on social media.
Waje had shared a loved-up picture of her with Hassani, setting the social media abuzz.
The Oko Mi singer, who’s famous for living a private life, had taken to her Instagram page, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, and shared a photo of herself and Hassani looking all loved up on a couch with the caption, “It’s time…????.”
In the photo, the pair were intimately captured with Hassani’s head resting on Waje’s laps, while the latter was seen playfully touching the former’s nose.
The photo caption also suggest that the two might actually be getting married or have only decided to make their relationship status public.

A Kano State High Court (appeal division), on Thursday, January 21, 2021, declared the death sentence imposed on Yahya Sharif Aminu, a Kano-based singer, convicted for blasphemy, as invalid.
Eelive.ng had reported that Judge Khadi Aliyu Muhammad Kani of a Sharia court in the Hausawa Filin Hockey area of Kano, sentenced Sharif-Aminu to death for blasphemy.
The Kano-based singer was found guilty of blasphemy, after he circulated one of songs via WhatsApp.
