Afrobeats artiste Wizkid went a bit wild on Twitter yesterday. Along with claims of getting married in 2020 and being a new man, Wizkid also declared that his fifth album would be his last.
Wizkid’s fourth album “Made In Lagos” has been anticipated for quite some time now. But Wizkid says after “Made In Lagos”, he will release one final body of work titled “Wizkid”.
He wrote, “After Made in Lagos! I’m giving y’all one last album as Wizkid .”

Wizkid released his first album “Superstar” in 2011. This was followed up by “Ayo” in 2014. He then achieved international acclaim with “Sounds From The Other Side” in 2017.
For the better part of two years, Wizkid has been talking about his fourth studio album. His status, fan base, and conversation have made the album the most-anticipated Nigerian album for a while.
Fans responded, either exciting for his last project or asking him to stop playing. We do not know how true this is considering the nature of Wizkid’s tweets lately.
Wizkid is hosting the Starboy Fest Lagos on the 26th of December. So maybe he will answer questions of whether or not his fifth album will truly be his last.
