Nigerian artiste, Ayodeji Balogun, a.k.a Wizkid, has been nominated for the 2019 Soul Train Awards.

From recording various hit songs to making an impressive collaboration on Beyonce’s album to hosting a sold-out show in London, Wizkid, can no doubt be termed the man of the year.

The singer made it to the list for “Brown Skin Girl”, his collaborative song with Beyoncé on her Lion King album.

Wizkid makes the list for the third time in his music career and has been nominated in two categories: Best collaboration and the Songwriters award.

Wizzy was nominated for Best Dance Performance in 2017 for his song ‘Come Closer’, a single from his last album Sounds from the other side.

Making history for the second time in a row, Wizkid sold out the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in London, for the 2019 edition of his StarBoy Fest few weeks ago.
