Why I won’t perform again this year- Rema

Nigerian musician, Rema, says he won’t be performing in any show this December.

The singer made this known through his Instagram Stories on Wednesday.

Rema said he will love to take care of his health and promised to return stronger in 2024.

He wrote  “Breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing anywhere this December. Been years of touring I’ve ignored my health & I need time to recuperate. 2024 we go again love ❤️.”

Rema gained recognition with the release of “Dumebi” in 2019. Rema is signed to Jonzing World record owned by D’Prince who had an affiliation with Mavin Records.

This month, he achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the youngest African artist to sell out the iconic O2 Arena.

Rema announced the headline show at the O2 Arena in London in May, and the concert took place on November 14, 2023, in support of his debut studio album, ‘Rave & Roses.’

The album, which features collaborations with artists like 6lack, Chris Brown, AJ Tracey, Yseult, and Selena Gomez, has been a major success.
