Popular singer, Stanley Omah Didia otherwise known as Omah Lay, has revealed that he stopped schooling to chase a career in music.
In an interview with The Beat FM, the Lo Lo singer explained that he has always wanted to be a musician due to his burning passion of talking to people and make them feel some type of way.
His words: “I was going to attend UNIPORT in Port Harcourt but at a time I started making music and my music production was taking a lot of my time so I was left with the option to choose whether to do the music thing or just go to school, I was so stubborn, so I left school. I was going to Hospitality and hotel management.”
When asked about what he would probably be doing if not music, Omah Lay said: “Probably a pastor, Imam or some sort of religious leader somewhere. It just made sense in my head, I don’t know. I know I like to talk to people and say things that are deep and make people feel some time of way.”
