Nollywood is famous for churning out numerous movies yearly, but for Obi Emelonye, it’s not just about putting the film out there. That’s why Money Miss Road is one movie to watch in the cinemas on Friday 22nd July 2022.

A reboot of the 2006 film Lucky Joe, Money Miss Road stars famous skit maker Josh Alfred and Nollywood star Swanky JKA.

Movie lovers will undoubtedly have numerous things to say about this movie. From its cast to its plot and even its style of comedy, there is so much to unravel about this movie. Let’s get to cracking!

Fans of a good comedy will resonate with this movie, and the reason is obvious. The cast members don’t make forced jokes but rather carry on with subtle jabs that will leave you in stitches.

Everyone will find the performance of two major cast members, Swanky JKA and Josh Alfred, impressive. Alfred especially shines in this role, and he proves that in his years of making people laugh on social media, he perfected his craft. JKA, on the other hand shows the same acting prowess that is evident in all his movie roles, except that in this movie, his performance seems even more natural.

It’s important also to note the exploration of the action genre that was carried out almost seamlessly with the power bike scenes. Action movie buffs will grab onto their seats with this one!

While we cannot give the director all the credit for this movie, we can give him a lot of credit for the sex scene in this movie. Unlike most Nollywood films, Money Miss Road finds its way out of the norm. You’ll have to watch it to understand what I mean.

Although not perfect, same as all films, Money Miss Road is undoubtedly a good watch. Fans can expect an hour and 38 minutes of good comedy.

Money Miss Road is set for release in cinemas on Friday, 22nd July 2022.
