Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter Finalize Divorce

Wendy Williams is officially single again. Former spouses Williams and Kevin Hunter have finalized their divorce in New Jersey on Jan. 22, TMZ reports. According to court documents released, the couple are forgoing alimony and will share properties they both got as a married couple.

William‘s New Jersey home that she and Kevin recently put up for sale will be split equally after it is sold. The legendary talk-show host gets to keep their house in Florida where her mum resides while Hunter won the rights to their second home in Morristown, New Jersey, which he recently sold.

The document also stated that their production company will be shared equally. However, Hunter, 48, plans to sell his shares to Williams, 55, which will fetch him a huge sum. Williams will also keep all of their furniture, meanwhile, Hunter gets to keep his Ferrari and his Rolls-Royce.

Moreover there will be no child support or custody battles as their son, Kevin Jr. Hunter is 19-years-old.

Wendy Williams filled for divorce from Hunter in April 2019 after his affair with massage therapist, Sharina Hudson, 33, was exposed. Hunter and Hudson were reportedly together for 10 years and it was revealed shortly that she was pregnant with his child.

Williams revealed in August 2019:

I wanted a divorce like yesterday, I wanted a divorce two months ago, three months ago, Whenever I found out, four months ago.

“I want a divorce and I want to be friends with Kevin. I mean, and not because we have a son but because that was real love.” She continued:
I still love him just not in that way. You either in or out with me. I still have love for him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family.”

According to TMZ, the media personality served Hunter the divorce papers at the studio they both run together. They also report that divorce papers were served under tight security just in case the situation got out of control which didn’t actually happen.

Wendy Williams is living her marriage of 22 years over “irreconcilable differences” which according to the divorce documents is the reason behind her decision.
