We Won’t Pay for Prince Harry, Meghan’s Security- Donald Trump

President Donald Trump says that the United States won’t pay for security details for Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle; who reportedly moved to Los Angeles.

The royal couple had relocated to the United States from Canada a few weeks ago, after leaving the United Kingdom.

Trump, however, took to his Twitter page on Sunday to disclose that despite being a “great friend” of the Queen of England, Harry and Meghan “must pay” for their own security details in the U.S.

“I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada,” he wrote.

“Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!.”

Harry, 35, is the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and sixth in line to the British throne. He tied the knot with American actress, Meghan, at Windsor Castle in May 2018.

In January, Prince Harry and Markle announced that they would step back from their royal duties. Meaning they would no longer receive public funds from the Sovereign Grant, the monarchy’s annual funding mechanism.

They were also stripped of their royal titles.
