Nigerian musician Kcee has revealed how he was close to marrying actress Ebube Nwogbo.
Speaking in a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast, hosted Temisan Emmanuel, the music star stated their relationship was everywhere.
However, the singer did not provide details as to what led to their breakup.
He said, “Well, I think, I think I’ll just say one person that our relationship. She is Ebube Nwogbo and our relationship was always front cover.
“We’re close to getting married, you know, whatever that happened, happened, you know, but then I didn’t understand the power of that media. I didn’t even know they were doing me good somehow.”
Speaking about how he was able to cope with the power of social media, he added, “I’m going to be honest. Well, I was crying. That was when Dele Momodu lectured me and told me about it.
“So at some point I tried something. I even paid some media guy. I’m like, tell them I used to go to Dubai a lot. So I had this little girl. I was holding, you know, with one Arab girl by my side. I paid some media guy to pose a picture that I have a family in Dubai. And because I have a new record coming, I did that.
“And boom, the news was everywhere. My name was flying. Like, so when I said that this is going to Dubai, every time he’s my song came out, they were rubbish.
“They were talking about, they were talking about, I was busy. The next two days I’m on this stage with this brand stage on this brand performing, just know how to manage without good or bad news. I’m not saying the negative news are important or too good, but I have learned to manage both of it.
“There’s no matter how negative it is, just be sure that you’re not doing something bad.”
