Watch Trailer For the Intriguing New ‘Village Headmaster’ Series

The iconic TV drama series, The Village Headmaster which was originally aired from 1968 to 1988 is set to hit TV screens again.

It would start airing on the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) network on April 4 from 8 pm to 9 pm, on Sundays in collaboration with Wale Adenuga Productions.

The original Village Headmaster was created by the late Ambassador Olusegun Olusola. It was set in the fictitious Yoruba village of Oja; and it dealt with social problems and effect of government policies in Oja.

There was a successful effort at reviving it after it was yanked off but that didn’t last long. Although it returned and aired for only six years, it was finally rested in 1991.

The new drama series stars Jide Kosoko, Mide Martins, 9ice and Rykardo Agbor.
