The wait is over as Sony finally release an official teaser trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home.
This comes a day after Sony clamped down on an alleged leaked trailer on social media. According to Sony CEO and Chairman, Tom Rothman, “All things come to those who wait,” said Rothman. “And in this case it’s the real thing, the genuine article” He added.
This is the third Spider-Man movie and the 27th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’ll pick up straight after the events of its predecessor, Spider-Man: Far From Home, released in 2019.
At the end of that movie, Peter Parker’s identity as Spider-Man became known to the world. Now, he’s dealing with his new unmasked reality and there’s a whole lot going on with that.

Here’s an official synopsis for the movie.
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighbourhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.
No Way Home stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, and Marisa Tomei all reprising their roles from previous Spider-Man films. Benedict Cumberbatch also joins the fray as Doctor Strange. The trailer’s big reveal was Alfred Molina reprising his role as Doctor Octopus from 2004’s Spider-Man 2.
