In a trending video on social media, two Nollywood heavyweights, Laide Bakare and Eniola Badmus, were seen almost engaging in a fist fight at the movie premiere of Eniola Ajao’s production, Owambe Thieves.
The movie premiere took place in Lagos on Sunday, April 13, and the event was attended by predominantly movie stars, especially those from the Yoruba-speaking part of the film industry.
In the trending video that surfaced online, Laide Bakare was seen shouting at her colleague, Eniola Badmus, who walked away from the scene the moment the incident began to escalate. While some of the guests at the event tried to quell the burgeoning feud, a bouncer who anticipated holding Bakare from physically assaulting Badmus almost received a slap on his face.

Meanwhile, Laide Bakare has taken to her Instagram platform to continue to call out her colleague, Badmus. According to Bakare, she gave Eniola Badmus her first movie role when other producers and actors thought she was “ugly” and “obese”.
