The official teaser for Citation, Kunle Afolayan’s anticipated movie, has been released.
The released-teaser renders a snippet of drama, suspense and daring plot-twists in Citation.
Citation is a movie that educates students on various ways to tackle sexual-based crimes in the universities.
The cast members of the star-studded movie, includes –Temi Otedola, Joke Silva, Ibukun Awosika, Seun Kuti, Gabriel Afolayan, and Sadiq Daba.
Citation, which according to Afolayan, was gunning for August 2020 release, could no longer be released due to the raging COVID-19.
Admitting that COVID-19 affected the project, he said, “As luck will have it, we managed to complete the shoot before the COVID-19 lockdown started. We filmed from early January till sometime in February, and we have even started post-production before this whole pandemic thing started. Sadly, we couldn’t follow our planned schedule.”
Meanwhile, the movie is still available for private screening for interested corporate organisations and Non-governmental Organisations (NGO).
