Nigerian football star, Jude Odion Ighalo, and his teammates at Al Shabab FC have been spotted singing aloud to Davido‘s hit song Fall following their League win over Damac on Monday.
In the video posted on the footballer’s Facebook fan page, they were grooving happily to the song inside the team bus while Ighalo was recording.
Fall is one of the hit songs released by Davido in 2017 alongside IF. The song was produced by ace producer, Kiddominant.
On May 27, 2020, the music-star announced that Fall has been certified gold in the US and Canada with 800,000 and 40,000 copies sold in both countries respectively.
He said: “I PREDICTED THIS COUPLE DAYS AGO ! !! FALL IS NOW CERTIFIED GOLD IN THE ‘USA !!!!! THEY LAUGHED AT ME BUT I DID IT FIRST!!“
Fall has also been certified platinum in South Africa. In March 2020, it broke the record for the most-watched Nigerian music video on YouTube.
Davido was recently named one of the next 100 most influential people in the world for 2021 by Time Magazine.
