Watch Di’ja Reveal How She Creates Her Music On #TheMix

Singer/songwriter, Di’ja, features on a new episode of Ndani TV’s “The Mix”. The singer talks about her musical journey and how long it took her to get her big break. She also reveals that her sound is subjective, owing to multiple producers she’s privileged to work with, her past experiences and her new found love for co-writing music.

On how she got involved in music, Dija shared; “I started making music in 2006 but professionally started in 2008 and then met Don Jazzy in 2014. Music called me, but I always like to appreciate my manager who introduced me to Baby Fresh, a producer on Mavin, who also went on to share my music with Don Jazzy.”

On her journey through music so far, she said; “It really has been a journey, through the bad and ugly and now looking forward to the better and the best. I focus on creating music and everything else is just noise. It is beautiful because I have decided to make it so, what other people do is not my problem.”

The artiste also revealed the inspiration behind her recently released EP, “The First 4” and plans to release the next 4 when she’s sure that her fans are on the same page with her.
