Seven-year-old internet sensation Success Adegor has earned her first acting role in the movie Just A Dream. Back in 2019, Adegor went viral on social media for complaining about her school punishing and sending her home for not paying her school fees
The child is now making her Nollywood debut in Just A Dream, a feature film directed by Omar Kona. Popular Nollywood actor, Eyinna Nwigwe first announced Success’ debut in an Instagram post; which he shared back in July, praising her performance.
“Never misses a line, always curious and asking questions for understanding, such a fantastic performer and an outstanding star, [Adegor] is the wittiest [child] I know… Indeed God qualifies the called, though unqualified. Her problem launched her greatness and there’s no limit”, Nwigwe wrote.
The film’s producer and director, Omar Kona also confirmed Success’ feature; revealing that in the upcoming drama, Adegor plays the role of a clairvoyant eight-year-old.
Alongside Nwigwe and Adegor, the movie features Dino Melaye, Adunni Ade, Nedu Wazobia in supporting roles. The movie is currently in post-production.
Success Adegor became an internet sensation back in 2019; after a video of her angrily complaining about punishment and exclusion from school for non-payment of school fees went viral.
In primary one at the time, the passionate video reportedly won Adegor scholarships.
