Afropop singer Adekunle Gold was recently in the news for allegedly cheating on his wife Simi with a video vixen. Now, said video vixen, whose name is Teminikan, is finally speaking out.
Last week, a gossip blog, Gistlover, made claims that Adekunle Gold cheated on his singer wife during her pregnancy with Teminikan, a model and video vixen. Despite the couple’s loud silence and the blog not sharing proof of the heavy claims, a number of Nigerians still ran with the news and reacted to it. In no time, the couple’s marriage started to trend on social media.
Some internet users thought it was hot gist and showed worry for the couple’s marriage; while others disregarded the news as false and cited examples of stories the blog shared in the past without proof.
Teminikan, who starred in Gold’s Jore music video, revealed on Instagram on Thursday how negative the allegations have been on her life and career. In a recent Instagram Story, the model accused blogsites of carrying “unverified information and destroying reputations.”
Temininkan wrote, “These past couple of days have been very traumatizing for me. It has affected my work, family, relationship and brand. It’s a really terrible thing some blogs do carrying unverified gist/information and ruining good reputations built from so much sweat and hard work over the years.”
“I want to thank everyone that has stood by me during these difficult times, I appreciate each and every one of you for all the support, it means such a great deal to me. God knows all and reveals all,” Teminikan concluded the post.
