With the success of his breakout hit, “Wetin We Gain”, Victor AD has continued to soar, maintaining his place in the hearts of every ghetto-bred youth believing in the possibility of a come-up.
With songs like “Tire You” which features Davido, “No Idea”, “Emoji” and the politically-conscious “Why” which features Erigga, Victor AD has gone further to show more of his capabilities with the release of a debut compilation project titled, “Red Eye”.
The 7-track EP is what he describes as introspective. Each single shows the artiste as very thoughtful of the fan base he has garnered in such short time, doling out melodious but deep and pertinent messages every time.
Commenting on the EP, the singer shared; “Red Eye the EP is dedicated and made for all the ghetto kids out there. I might appear ugly on the outside, but trust me I am very pretty within. Let all the scars and the struggles you’ve been through motivate you.”
Throughout “Red Eye”, Victor AD reflects on where he is at this time in his life — from his love life to his mental health — presenting himself as a young man who is simply trying to right his wrongs and make a good name for himself. He manages to open up the mind of his fans, while also making them want to turn up — an impressive feat.
