Nollywood mourns the tragic loss of veteran actor Don Brymo Uchegbu, who passed away unexpectedly.
He reportedly succumbed to a partial stroke and high blood sugar levels on Wednesday evening.
Don Brymo peacefully departed in his sleep on June 14, 2023.
Mayor Ofoegbu, a renowned Nollywood movie director and close associate, confirmed the heartbreaking news on June 15, 2023.
Expressing his shock and disbelief, Mr. Ofoegbu shared the news on his Facebook page.
He wrote, “Plan for tomorrow but live for today. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. I wrote those lines on my WhatsApp status yesterday evening. My man, my 5 & 6, Don Brymo Uchegbu, passed in his sleep. I received the shocking news this morning and had to verify from his family. Chai! Don Brymo, my manchi. It’s hard to say goodbye. Nnukwu nwa na Enugu ukwu.”
Born in 1966 in Anambra State, Don Brymo began his journey in the film industry in 2000.
Throughout his career, he appeared in notable films like “Anger of a Wonder Girl,” “Ikemba,” “Ritual of Vengeance,” and “Wedding in Nigeria,” among others.
The passing of Don Brymo has created a void in the Nollywood community, leaving colleagues and fans grieving the loss of a talented actor.
