Nollywood veteran actor, Yomi Obileye has been pronounced dead. He reportedly passed away died in the early hours of Friday, April 24, 2020.
Disclosing Obileye’s demise, Nigerian actor and comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka wrote on his Instagram page; “If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane, we would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again. Rest In Peace Uncle Yomi OBILEYE.”
“Thanks for the memories. I can’t help but want to watch ‘HOSTAGES’ again. Sleep well Egbon and May God give your family and fans the fortitude to bear the loss.”
The late Obileye was popular for movies such as Hostages by Tade Ogidan, in 1997, and a popular soap opera, Palace, which featured Jide Kosoko, Liz Benson, Antar Laniyan, Tunji Bamishigbin, Dayo Adeneye, Jide Alabi.
