Popular Nigerian rapper, Vector has blasted Femi Fani-Kayode, a former aviation minister, for hurling insults at a Daily Trust journalist, Eyo Charles.
Charles, had yesterday (Tuesday, August 25, 2020), asked Fani-Kayode who was bankrolling him for his tour in some South-South and South-East states, when the former minister lost his cool.
Sharing a video of the clip, Vector opined that the politician had no right whatsoever to speak to a fellow man in such unruly manner.
“The fact that you say you are not like the ‘brown envelope skin boys and girls’, doesn’t mean you have to right to speak to a man like if you engaged him in a fight you would exhibit the same energy. Sit down. You lack manners,” he wrote on Twitter.
Fans have however gathered in the comment section since Vector’s post to give various opinion on his words on the former minister.
In a subsequent post, the rapper refused to slow down as he went further to say Fani-Kayode “lacks understanding.”
Vector added, “He doesn’t have to defend himself via any form of anxiety. He asked simply, he should respond in his understanding of what ‘simple’ means. He lacks understanding.”
Meanwhile, Fani-Kayode has apologised for his behaviour, which caused an uproar among journalists and other members of the public.
