Ex Big Brother Naija contestant, Alexandra Asogwa, aka Alex Unusual, has shared her personal opinion on why unmarried women or “baby mamas” should be respected and not be condemned.
Speaking with Sunday PUNCH, Asogwa maintained that majority of these women are not to blame for the position in which they find themselves.
Alex also dropped the hint of the stage play she’s acting in as a baby mama. On whether she would consider having a baby out of wedlock, she said “I hope to get married and have kids. However, I don’t judge unmarried women because many of them didn’t plan to be that way.”
She maintained that a lot of women were most likely in love with their so called lovers who got them pregnant and therefore abandoned them or because things didn’t work out between them.
Alex Unusual however, supposed they are given the respect which they deserve because they have children.
Speaking on her experience preparing for the stage play, Man Enough Alex said, “This is actually my first time of being in a stage play. It has been very tasking because it’s way more difficult than being on a movie set.”
She also admitted that she was feeling nervous about what the reaction of the audience would be. She added, “I would not deny it; yes I was feeling nervous.”
