The marriage between artiste manager Ubi Franklin and actress Lilian Esoro is reportedly officially over.
According to documents obtained by blogger, Linda Ikeji, Franklin and Esoro successfully got a divorce on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at an Abuja High Court.
Apparently, the marriage had been in trouble for years. The couple, who were separated, tried and failed to end their marriage back in 2019.
However, an Ikeja High Court judge ruled against their divorce and called it invalid; since Lilian testified that Ubi provides for their child and maintain a cordial relationship.

The report further stated that the judge told both parties to go and settle their differences amicably; claiming that they only sought a divorce due to childishness. But Franklin and Esoro had not seen eye to eye for a long time. They only lived together for a few months after their flamboyant wedding in 2015.
Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro tied the knot in a high profile wedding in 2015. The couple share a two-year-old son Jayden whom they co-parent.
Franklin is also father to three other children; two daughters, Zanetta and Ariella, and a son, Shiloh, with a South African, Nicole Siyo.
