American singer, Tyrese Gibson has expressed his frustration since his marriage with Samantha crashed.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the Hollywood star and singer lamented that having to explore a romantic affair with someone new is not easy for him, especially considering the fact that he didn’t imagine he’ll ever be there.
“Dear God, With a healing heart I post this….. I am sorry for my sins and sorry for anything I’ve ever done to anyone rather I’m aware of it or not I just hope you find it in your heart to forgive me….. I have not met my BEST self yet and I know it…. I can’t wait to meet the NEW ME!!!!! This single life hits different especially since I could of never ever seen this coming…… Ever…. Back to the basics…. What’s your name? Where you from? Who yo momma nem? What you do? What’s your credit score? Jesus or Nah? Lol #TheVibes” his post read.
The Fast and Furious star and his wife Samantha, parted ways some weeks ago after their four years of marriage.
The pair released a joint statement to announce their separation.
The statement read: “We have decided to make a statement of a painful and significant development in our lives.
“After much thought, consideration, and prayer, We, unfortunately, have made the difficult decision to officially separate & divorce.
“Our intention is to remain the best of friends & strong coparents, alongside a red carpet photo of the actor planting a kiss on his wife’s cheek.
“We feel incredibly blessed to have found each other and deeply grateful for the 4 years we have been married to each other.
“Our journey together has been a ride of both ups & downs, but it’s a journey that neither of us would have chosen to take with anyone else.
“We truly have so much love & respect for each other. We both have grown tremendously within this relationship; we have shared so many beautiful memories and moments, and we also look forward to seeing the amazing futures we have ahead of us individually.”
Gibson, however, blamed his failed marriage with Samantha on attacks targeted at Black people.
