American musician and entrepreneur, Kanye Omari West popularly known as Kanye West or Ye now has his Twitter account unblocked almost three weeks after being locked over antisemitic posts and comments.

Kanye West in response to this, took to his Twitter account and posted,

“Testing Testing, Seeing if my Twitter is unblocked”.

Following the temporary locking of Kanye West’s Instagram and Twitter account, He announced his agreement to acquire Parker. Parker is a libertarian-leaning social network.

Eelive earlier reported that Kanye West’s social media accounts were placed under restriction due to his anti-semitic posts and comments. His posts allegedly targeted the Jewish community.

In response to the backlash received for wearing a t-shirt with “WHITE LIVES MATTER” inscribed on it. Kanye West had said that he would use Combs as “an example to show the Jewish people that told you to call me that no one can threaten or influence me. I told you this is war. Now gone get you some business.”

Weeks after this, Eelive reported Kanye West’s apology over his comments and posts. He tweeted,

“I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up, I’ll go death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE. The funny thing is I can’t actually be anti-semitic because black people are Jewish also. You people gave toyed with me and gave tried to blackball whoever opposes your agenda.”

This is one of the tweets that led to Twitter restricting his account.

The award winning rapper later stated that he meant to say Defcon 3 in the tweet. Defence readiness condition (Defcon) is an alert system that the US military uses, with five levels of readiness, with level one being the highest. Defcon level 3 refers to “Increase in force readiness above normal readiness.”

However, he stated that he didn’t regret his tweet. He stated,

“I will say I’m sorry for the people that I hurt with the Defcon [comment], the confusion that I caused. I felt like I caused hurt and confusion. And I’m sorry for the families of the people that had nothing to do with the trauma that I have been through.”
