Trey Songz slammed with lawsuit over bartender assault.

American musician, ‘Tremaine Aldon Neverson’ aka Trey Songz was accused of assault by a bartender in 2019. His accuser, is now suing him for battery. The bartender said he was tending to the bar around midnight at the Hollywood Palladium when the incident happened.

According to the accuser, the incident happened on May 9, 2019, while Songz was part of a crowd. In the legal documents presented, it stated that the 36-year-old singer had sat on the bar to watch the show. The bartender explains in the suit that he had told Songz that it was against the company’s policy to do that.

Songz was said to have ignored the warning which further caused the bartender to tap his back to draw his attention. It was at this point, Songz allegedly landed a blow on the bartender’s head. The statement added that Songz proceeded to continue watching the show afterwards.

TMZ reports that they confirmed Trey Songz’s presence at the concert hall on the day. Cardi B was performing at a show at the Hollywood Palladium. The event had been put together by American fashion brand, Fashionova.

The bartender further says he suffered severe physical, emotional and psychological injury from the alleged attack. He is now suing the singer for damages. So far, Songz is yet to put out any statement on the accusation or lawsuit.

History of abuse?

In 2020, Songz was also dragged into a lawsuit. A woman had accused the Grammy award winner of sexual assault and battery. She alleged that he touched her intimately without her consent at Diddy’s New Year’s Eve party on January 1, 2018. The woman filed a $10 million lawsuit.

Before then, he was also accused by another woman of assault in March, 2018. This time, it was during a party at the singer’s house in Los Angeles. However, that case was dismissed on the grounds that it lacked concrete evidence.

In 2017, Hollywood star actress and singer, Keke Palmer also accused him of sexual intimidation. She called him out for putting her in his music video without her permission.
