American singer, Tremaine Neverson, popularly known as Trey Songz, has reacted to the rape allegations made against him by Basketball star, Dylan Gonzalez.
On Tuesday, Gonzalez accused the musician of raping her on instagram. She added that she was going through post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the rape.
Gonzalez stated, “With what seems like endlessly reoccurring news of the alleged sexual assaults committed by Trey Songz, I am forced to repeatedly relive in my mind. And suffer anew, the long-suppressed horror and unbearable PTSD of my rape by his very hands at a well known Las Vegas Hotel. I want to send my love, strength, and hope to all who are victims of sexual assault and its fatal nature. You are not alone.”
The former UNLV baller continued,
“I stand with you and encourage all those who have suffered abuse to speak out and come forward. Suppression of our voices only emboldens our oppressors, and you cannot heal what you do not reveal. At this time, I humbly request my privacy, consideration, and compassion while I fully commit to pursue the best course of action and all of my legal options.”
TMZ has revealed that Trey’s reps relayed to them that he’s denying the rape claims. And his legal team is confident exonerating information will come forward to the public eye in the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, Trey Songz is facing two more sexual assault allegations. One of his accusers alleged that she was assaulted at Diddy’s New Year’s Eve party in January 2020. Another sexual assault claim stems from Las Vegas in November 2019 that allegedly took place at The Cosmopolitan Hotel
