American singer, Tremaine Aldon Neverson, better known as Trey Songz, has been arrested for assaulting a police officer.
According to TMZ, the Say Aah singer and a police officer got into a physical altercation on Sunday; at the Arrowhead Stadium during a National Football League (NFL) game.
It all started when when the father-of-one was hassled by fans a few rows behind him and asked them to “chill out”, a witness told the news outlet.
Witnesses also claim a police officer allegedly got physical with Trey Songz without provocation; and that the alleged altercation was self-defense on the singer’s part.
The singer was arrested for trespassing, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

Trey Songz released his debut album I Gotta Make It in 2005. He spawned his first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with Say Aah, a track off Ready, his third album, which was released in 2009.
