Travis Scott and McDonald’s Launch New Merchandise

Travis Scott and McDonald’s launched a collaboration this month which included a meal; (Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon, lettuce, fries with BBQ sauce, and a Sprite for $6) and some Cactus Jack merchandise.

The food was so popular that it caused supply chain shortages in McDonald’s locations across the United States. It is therefore safe to assume that Scott’s fans loved the product and the engagement.

Now, Travis Scott and McDonald’s have announced a new, final drop of merchandise from the collaboration. Scott, in collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market, designed the new clothes. They are available on Travis Scott’s online store for 48 hours.

The new items feature a cut-and-paste-style typeface, more than a few nods to vintage McDonald’s marketing campaigns and store designs. There are also hoodies and crewnecks that appear to contain a transcription of the father of one; describing what the famous Travis Scott McDonald’s meal is. I will say that the shirt with the enormous, airbrushed McRib is pretty funny.

This comes a day after he announced his new single Franchise for this Friday. The single is accompanied by original artwork by George Condo; the renowned contemporary artist behind the paintings that accompanied Kanye West’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

Fans can pre-order the new single digitally or on cassette and CD now via Scott’s website. Franchise is the follow-up to The Plan, Scott’s theme song for Christopher Nolan’s latest epic Tenet; which came out late last month.
