
Celebrity stylist and fashion icon, Toyin Lawani has taken to social media to honour her late mother, Atinuke Babalola.
Taking to her Instagram page, Toyin shared a photo of herself recreating one of her mother’s looks, as she notes that her late mother taught her everything, from hard work, to the dedication she presently exhibits and the value of kindness and compassion.
The mother of three further disclosed that her mother made them work hard daily, despite their royal status.

Sharing photos, she wrote: “I had to do this Recreation of my moms look, Thanks to Aunty Wosilat Okoya for giving me this fabric. I owe it all to my amazing mom, Princess Atinuke Babalola.
“She taught me everything I know, from the importance of hard work and dedication to the value of kindness and compassion. Regardless of Our Royal status, she made us work hard daily, I wish she was here to see the King of Fashion that I’ve become. I wish she could see the successful entrepreneur and business mogul I’ve grown into.
“I wish she could see the good mother I’ve become, passing on the lessons she taught me to my own children. But even though she’s not here physically, I know she’s smiling down on me, proud of the person I’ve become. I’m grateful for the values she instilled in me, for the sacrifices she made for our family, and for the unconditional love she showed me every day.
