
Nollywood actress Toyin Alausa has shared her experience working with her colleague, Funke Akindele, in response to a recent controversy surrounding Akindele’s movie set.
Recall that skit maker, Ganiyu Kehinde, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, had initially claimed that he was paid N90k for a month’s work on Akindele’s set, but later apologized and set the record straight.

Alausa took to social media to share her own experience working with Akindele, stating that she felt compelled to speak out to set the record straight. According to Alausa, she has worked on several movie sets with Akindele and can confidently say that Akindele pays her cast and crew well and takes good care of them.
Alausa highlighted the positive aspects of working with Akindele, including timely payment and a comfortable working environment. She emphasized that Akindele is a hardworking and visionary actress who lifts others and sets a high standard for the industry.
Alausa also cautioned against tearing down people who have invested time, resources, and effort into a project, stating that it’s not good to generalize or make assumptions about someone’s character or work ethic. She praised Akindele as a pacesetter who has made a positive impact on the industry.
