Frontline Nigerian filmmaker Tope Oshin is back in the groove as an actor in an upcoming film titled Here Love Lies. Ms Oshin produced and directed the film. It also features veteran actor and teacher, Sam Dede, whose appearance, she described as “a dream come true”.
Miss Oshin was an actor for twelve straight years before stepping into directing. She says it is exciting to be back in front of the cameras. The filmmaker also assures lovers of her work of an exciting experience with this film.
eelive.ng reports that Here Love Lies is a romantic psychological thriller, which will likely premiere early in 2022. It tells the story of Amanda. The single parent and travel blogger takes a trip to the United States to meet up with a tour guide with whom she has been in a virtual romance. This trip becomes the harbinger of so many unanticipated events that bring thrill to the film.
The cast of the film includes Tope Oshin, who plays the lead role of Amanda, Tim Shelburne, Sam Dede, Tina Mba, Omowumi Dada, Daniel Etim Effiong, Moyo Lawal, and others.
Oshin, is credited with over 7,000 hours of directing in film and television. Productions that have her credit include Up North, New Money, Tinsel, Hotel Majestic, Shuga, Journey to Self and We don’t live here anymore, to name a few.
