Gospel singer, Tope Alabi has disclosed her plan to release two new albums for her 50th birthday celebrations.
In an interview with Punch, Alabi said she will be releasing an hymnal album, and one other titled, Olorun, on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, which marks her golden jubilee.
She said, “I would also be releasing more albums. For the first time, I would be releasing an hymnal album. I would also release an album titled, Olorun, that would contain my 21-day worship programme on Instagram and Facebook.”
While expressing how she feels about her forthcoming birthday celebration, Alade also uncovered some of her other plans, which she’s convinced will make her anniversary memorable.
“I feel good being 50. It is a blessing from God and I consider it an honour. Now that I’m 50, there wouldn’t be much difference from what I have been doing but I would dedicate more time to my school of music ministers to groom a new generation of gospel music ministers. Beyond that, I would keep praising God and being a prayer warrior. I want to build the school so that I can help other gifted people coming up. I believe in God and I know there is nothing He cannot do. I would not mind if I get people to assist me on the project,” she was quoted as saying.
