Nigerians have taken to the microblogging site, X to react after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu slipped while he was trying to mount the parade car at the 2024 Democracy Day parade.
Today, Wednesday, June 12 is scheduled to be the official democracy day celebration in Nigeria. It was commissioned by the former president, Muhammadu Buhari who adjourned it from May 29 to June 12, in honor of the late politician, philanthropist and presidential candidate, MKO Abiola.
The Nigerian president, Tinubu fell while he was about to mount the vehicle at the Democracy Day parade.
