Victor Olaotan

Actors of popular television series, Tinsel have come together to solicit fund for fellow actor, Victor Olaotan, also known as Fred Ade Williams, who has been terribly sick following a ghastly car accident he had back in 2016.

In a video clip that showed recognisable faces of actors from the well acclaimed TV series Tinsel in solemn kind of gathering where they sought to bring up to speed public knowledge of Mr. Olaotan’s current state of health.

Victor Olaotan, 66, is a Nigerian veteran actor and lead character of the soap opera, Tinsel.

He has been receiving medical care since he was involved in a motor accident in October 2016.  He was said to have been driving to a movie scene when the accident happened around Apple Junction, Festac, Lagos.

According to the group of actors, their attempt being the second public calls for help and a generous contribution towards the rehabilitation of their colleague. Although, “there’s been immense progress, however, there’s still a way to go,” they said.

“As we speak treatment has stopped because the family has run out of funds. We won’t be here asking for your help again if this was something we could do on our own. As it stands we need your help to raise the sum of $250,000 to complete his treatment.”

“It is with utmost humility and no sense of entitlement that we ask, bless you, as you give.” Their statements read.

However, the actors did not leave out their vote of thanks to everyone who has contributed generously both home and abroad, and especially to Mr Femi Otedola, Nigerian billionaire who is admired for his astounding charity as always.
