Timi Dakolo took to social media to advocate for better treatment and equal rights for non-biological children. He stated that raising a child is an investment and that the reward for doing so is not only financial.
The soul singer addressed his post to “anybody,” perhaps who cares to listen, who has other people’s children living with them, to ensure they treat them right as they may end up being their saving grace when they grow old.
Dakolo bolstered his advice by adding that “life has a funny way of telling these kind of stories.”
He wrote: ” Dear anybody, you can see that child or children that are staying with you for one reason or the other. Please treat them well, they may end up being your saving grace and pillar when you get old and life eventually happens to you. Do to them as you would do to your own child. For life has a funny way of telling these kind of stories.”
One can’t help but love Dakolo‘s parenting of his three children as he often dishes out pictures of the fun moments that has happened over the years in his home.
Beyond this, we can assume Timi Dakolo isn’t just a regular dad, he’s like, a really, really cool dad.
