American media personality, Kim Kardashian has revealed that she has no desire to reconcile with estranged husband, Kanye “ye” West. This is despite the fact that the American rapper has stated publicly that he wants to reconcile.
In new court documents, Kardashian’s lawyer states that,
“Irreconcilable differences have led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage. And there is no possibility of saving the marriage through counseling or other means. The continued maintenance of technical marital status between [Kim] and [Ye] serves no useful purpose, and there is no reason to maintain the legal relationship.”
The documents reveal that the 41 year old fashion icon is asking the court to declare her legally single. She said this is because Ye and his lawyers have “been non-responsive” to her attempts to “move this case forward to a speedy and amicable resolution.”
The petition states that Kim will agree to “any conditions” that the court wishes to impose in order to divorce Ye. She also requested to drop the surname West.
Kardashian initially filed for divorce in February 2021. However, following this filing the couple remained on good terms.
Kardashian, who shares 4 children with Ye, is now dating Pete Davidson.
