Who should lead The Avengers? That’s one of the questions the trailer for Marvel’s Eternals asks.

The first trailer for the Chloe Zhao directed flick just dropped and we finally have a look at Marvel’s family of Immortal beings.

Eternals is set to hit the big screen on Friday November 5, 2021.

Watch the first trailer below

The Eternals boasts a star-studded cast that includes Angelina Jolie, Kit Harrington, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Salma Hayek, Lia McHugh, Don Lee, and Barry Keoghan.

Who’s playing who?
  • Angelina Jolie as “fierce warrior” Thena.
  • Richard Madden as  “all-powerful” Ikaris.
  • Kit Harington as Dane Whitman (who is human).
  • Barry Keoghan as “aloof loner” Druig.

In the trailer, we hear Ajak say “We have watched and guided. We have helped them progress and seen them accomplish wonders”. This might mean that the Eternals have been on Earth throughout the entire Marvel cinematic universe. We’ll find out more in future trailers or when the movie drops.

The trailer also shows the Eternals helping humanity grow crops, establish cities, and even wage war throughout the ages.
