The cast of the 1998 box office hit The Parent Trap is getting back together. People reports that some members of the 1998 cast will participate in a virtual reunion to air on famous TV reporter Katie Couric‘s Instagram on Monday, July 20.

For those that absolutely can’t wait, Katie shared a trailer of the event, confirming that Lindsay Lohan (Annie and Hallie), Dennis Quad (Nick), Elaine Hendrix (Meredith), Lisa Ann Walter (Chessy) and Simon Kunz (Martin) are all taking part.

The reunion will also feature the film’s director Nancy Meyers and writer-producer Charles Shyer.

Sadly, Natasha Richardson, who portrayed Liz, the fashion-forward mother of Annie and Hallie, passed away in 2009. However, People reports that the reunion will feature a special tribute to the late star.

The virtual gathering marks the first time the cast has been back together since the film debuted in 1998, and based on the brief trailer, there’s plenty to catch up on.

In the clip, Elaine addresses Meredith’s now-iconic place in pop culture, Lindsay touches on how “special” her role was, and Nancy explores how the movie was Lindsay’s first major step into the spotlight.

Posting the clip on her own Instagram, Lindsay referenced the film’s signature tune, writing, “Let’s get together.” She also shared a teaser image from behind-the-scenes, writing that she “can’t wait.”

A possible reunion of the Parent Trap cast has been rumoured since earlier this summer, E! News reportsBack in May, Nancy shared another photo from filming, writing, “I have some #ParentTrap news to share next week. #ItsGoingToBeFun. (Not a sequel. Sorry!)” Lindsay later added to the excitement, sharing an article that speculated about the possible reunion.

Thankfully, it appears all those rumours were true, and now, everyone is officially back in their Parent Trap feelings. Fans have commented on Lindsay’s Instagram post with countless “OMG”s and more than a few followers have even declared the film one of the best of all time. (We have to agree.)

People notes, the reunion will air at 9 a.m. ET on Monday and the event will help raise funds for José Andrés’ non-profit organization World Central Kitchen.
