Perruzi might had held a grudge against Teni the Entertainer’s  win at this year’s Soundcity MVP Awards for Best New Act but apparently, the Uyo Meyo  singer has been named YouTube’s Artist on the Rise, making her the second Nigerian act to earn this feat. The only other Nigerian act to earn this honour is Burna Boy,

With her song Case hitting the four million mark on YouTube, the singer  isn’t showing any signs of slowing down on her path to superstardom, and her recent achievement goes far to prove it. The YouTube Artist on the Rise feature spotlights new artistes that are making waves with their music despite their greenhorn status and smaller fan base.

Acquiring this new status, Teni earns the privilege of an automatic entry of her music videos into US YouTube trending videos, a move guaranteed  to expose her brand in climes where she might not have had the chance of breaking into.

Also, the singer will be promoted on YouTube’s social media ads, and fan event appearances in YouTube spaces.
