Nigerian superstar, Tems, award-winning DJ, artist, and producer Spinall, and Tyla, a rising South African star have been lined up to perform at the 2024 Coachella.
Nigerian music stars have been a regular feature at Coachella since 2019. This was when Burna Boy famously chastised the festival for writing his name in small print.
Coachella has announced its 2024 festival lineup, and Africa is well represented.
Coachella 2024 will be headlined by Lana Del Rey, Tyler The Creator, and Doja Cat. Peso Pluma, J Balvin, Lil Uzi Vert, Skepta, Jon Baptiste, Ice Spice, Lil Yachty, DJ Snake, and many other artists will perform over the course of the six-day festival.
Seun Kuti and his Egypt 80 Band, who have been nominated for Grammys, performed at the festival in 2020.
CKay graced the Coachella stage in 2022. Burna Boy returned to the stage as one of the leading supporting acts in 2023.
Tems and Spinall are expected to perform at the 2024 Coachella festival. They will join the ranks of Nigerians who have graced the famous stage.
