On Sunday, February 2, Temilade Openiyi, otherwise known as Tems, won her first Grammy as a solo artiste. Mounting the Grammy’s podium, Tems was escorted alongside her mother and members of her team.
Prior to the recent success at the Grammy award ceremony, Tems has shown her mother on social media, insinuating that they have a strong tie as a family.

Tems disclosed this in an interview with ET on the sidelines of the 67th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

On her Grammy win, Tems said: “I’m grateful to God. I’m thankful. I think it’s a blessing. I’m extremely blessed and favored. I just want to give that out in any way that I can.”
