Sylvester Stallone or Barney Ross as he’s known on the Expendables is back with the rest of the gang!
The legendary Hollywood actor took to his Instagram account to share some images from the set of the Expendables 4 which is currently in production.
The post on Instagram also included pictures with co-stars Dolph Lungren and Jason Statham. There’s also a video of Stallone on a bike with a cigar, taking us back to the 90s and early 2000s action movies we love.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new movie will feature Stallone, Lundgren and Statham reprising their roles. Some new cast members include Tony Jaa, Megan Fox, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Andy Garcia.

Since it’s deubt in 2010, the Expendables franchise has been a box office hit. The first film, directed by Stallone himself, made $274 million worldwide, the second film crossed the $300 million threshold. The third film, directed by Patrick Hughes, managed to earn $214 million worldwide on a $100 million budget.
“It’s so much fun to bring these stars together for a no-holds-barred action film,” said Jason Constantine, president of acquisitions and co-productions for the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, in a statement. “The new film will raise the stakes and be the biggest, most badass adventure yet.”
There’s no release date for Expendables 4 yet but it’s rumored to be coming in 2022. We can expect a teaser trailer to be released in the coming months.
