Aliyah, girlfriend of record label owner Kashy Godson, has come out to defend singer Barry Jhay following his mysterious death.
eelive.ng had reported how Godson, CEO of Cash Nation, the label under which the singer operates, died on March 7, 2021.
Shortly after his death, it was reported that Barry Jhay had been arrested in Ghana in connection to the death of his boss as a result of the fight the pair had.
However, an eyewitness, while speaking during an Instagram Live session with mp3bullet; had said that Kashy accidentally fell from the 5th floor of a six-storey building.
He also revealed that the deceased had a misunderstanding with the security officers before his death.
“While trying to struggle with them, they called for back-up and he tried to pull a stunt, which made him fall,” the eyewitness had said.

In a post shared on Snapchat, the girlfriend of the deceased confirmed; that Barry Jhay had nothing to do with her lover’s death.
She asked people to stop sending death threats to the singer and his family. She also dismissed reports that her boyfriend was depressed before his death.
