Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most anticipated movie that has yet to be released this year. The No Way Home teaser trailer broke the record for the most viewed movie trailer in its first 24 hours online. The trailer garnered over 300 million views in one day. It’s clear that Marvel fans can’t wait to see this movie. However, it is not the only highly-anticipated Spider-Man movie. We are also anticipating the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The title of the sequel allegedly leaked this week.
According to an observation made by The Cosmic Circus, a LinkedIn profile seemed to have leaked the sequel title.
A CFX supervisor with Sony Pictures Imageworks that previously worked on Into the Spider-Verse had added a project to their resume. The project was called “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”.
The CFX supervisor has been working on the movie since December 2020, according to the LinkedIn profile. The profile has since been deleted and can no longer be publicly accessed.
It is highly possible that this leak is legitimate. Across the Spider-Verse is very likely to be the title to the sequel, or Sony is at least considering this title. Either way, fans are very excited about the upcoming sequel. A release date has not been announced.
